The Peace Pledge Project values your privacy. Therefore protecting your information is extremely important to us. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with our website.

When do we collect information?

Data is only collected when the user (yourself) either chooses to contact us via our contact form at the bottom of our website or by filling in a registration form to attend one of our events. However this information is only stored for direct communication purposes and not for the mailing list purpose.

 

When users choose to make a donation to the Peace Pledge Project, their data (name, surname, area of residence etc) is then stored to our data base as all donors are part of our mailing list to be able to receive the stipulated freebies and monthly newsletter according to which donor plan their have selected.

It is important to note that all credit card information is in no way stored on our system nor is it stored on our third party payment system.

All donations done on the website is facilitated via the Mollie platform for safe and secure transactions.

How do we use your information?

Personal information of all donors is safely stored on our Mailchimp email system platform. We do not share, edit or otherwise alter your personal information. And users can choose to have their personal information removed from our mailing list at any time.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who run this website.

In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order, and enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

How long will your personal information be store?

All personal information obtained via the contact form and registration form will be stored in our email data based for the purpose of following up with those interested in partnering with us or attending an event of the Peace Pledge Project. However this data can be removed immediately should the user request deletion of their personal data. Users can contact us via email for this request.

 

Donors who choose to opt out of contibuting monthly donations, are required to either contact us via info@peacepledgeproject.org or unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking on “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of emails send via the mailing list platform.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
